MAKE IT STOP MONDAY!

Today has not been a good one. True Monday! It is rainy here due to Lara churning in the Gulf. It looks like were are out of her path but New Orleans looks like they are going to get hit with either a Category 1 or 2 hurricane. We are on the heels of the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. I feel for them. We are having torrential rain here which is causing localized flooding but I will take it. I am wearing my shirt from the NAACP that says ENOUGH #WeAreDoneDying. I hope that I don't have to use this hashtag with Jacob Blake who was shot 7 times by police in Kenosha, WI. He was shot in the back and fighting for his life. All we know is that he was trying to break up a fight between 2 women. On video you see him walking away from police trying to enter his vehicle. One officer grabs the back of his t-shirt and as he tried to get in his vehicle the officer shoots him in front of his kids who were in the vehicle. I hope he makes it so he can tell us what happened. I don't trust the involved parties to tell the truth. To the person who said last week that he gets tired of seeing how law enforcement is treated on TV. Imagine how tired I am of seeing black men shot by the police. Praying for him and praying for peace. THE RNC so called convention started on today and if you want to see some trash TV then tune in. I will past. Some of the speakers are too disgusting to even listen to. KellyAnn Conway is leaving the WH as she says her family needs less drama and more mama. Yeah right ok. Jerry Falwell Jr has resigned from Liberty University. I would too if a pic like that had surfaced of me. The so called Postmaster General testiified today and he is a joke that is not funny. COVID is still running rampant in my city. I think we are at 5,000 cases. Toursit are still coming down and have Labor Day weekend coming up.
