APPALACHIA, AMERICAS IGNORED DRUG PROBLEM

Special Show tomorrow! Vanessa Riley will be joining us as we talk about the drug problem in West Virginia. Vanessa and her husband Sean are strong advocates for First Responder Mental Health but also advocate for those in OUR society that struggle with chemical addiction. West Virginia is one of the states leading the way in poverty and drug addiction yet little to know legislation is being passed to address that problem. Just as crack cocaine proliferated the black community in the early 90s, methamphetamines and opioids are destroying the suburbs in our poorest states. If we are so Christian and so self-righteous as a nation, why are we dealing with it? This show is unscheduled because life is unscheduled. It came about spontaneously because the conversation I had with Vanessa came at the impulsively. We will talk about  it because SOMEONE NEEDS TO and that is what WE do on this show.
