She is also a certified and very experienced in eavesdropping countermeasures (locating bugging devices). She owned a successful Private Detective Agency in Chicago that specialized in investigating Civil Rights, Section 1983, Sexual Harassment, Race Discrimination, and Civil RICO cases primarily against Unions; Politicians and Law Enforcement entities but always on behalf of the marginalized worker/officer. The daughter of a Chief of Police who took on the Mob in Colorado in the late 1960’s which resulted in her childhood home being bombed and both she and her father being shot.
