This Saturday March 16 2019 at 10 AM (CST)  on Behind the Blue Curtain we’ll explore the “Criminal Injustice System.”  There seems to be no degree of shame when it comes to sentencing some people with a slap on the wrist and crucifying other people for minor crimes.  Paul Manafort got a total of 7 years for felonies costing millions of dollars and other crimes  that boarder on treason. Roger Stone posted  a picture of  U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson with what appeared to be crosshairs near her head and continually violates the  gag-rule on his case imposed by   Judge Amy Berman presiding over his trial and gets no jail time.   In March 2013, Kwame Kilpatrick, 43, U.S. District was convicted of racketeering conspiracy, fraud, extortion and tax crimes and sentenced to 28 years.  The government called it the "Kilpatrick enterprise," a years long scheme to shake down contractors and reward allies.  Kalief Browder was an African American man from The Bronx, New York. In 2010, at the age of 16, Browder was accused of the theft of a backpack and its contents, which included a camera, $700, a credit card, and an iPod Touch. Awaiting his trial, Browder was jailed on Rikers Island for three years, nearly two of which were spent in solitary confinement. He was released when the prosecutor's case was found to be lacking evidence against Browder.  The call-in number is 646-716-4621 and press 1 on your phone if you’d like to add to the conversation.
