Is your PD the Next DPD

Look at the manning shortages in Dallas Police Department.  Look at the response times to priority 1 calls for services.  These are the most immediate calls, holding for hours on end.  Now ask yourself, could our department be the next Dallas Police Department?  How close is your city to having a mass exodus of Officers because of horrible work conditions, shoddy equipment, long hours, poor pay and a ridiculous retirement system?  If you don’t know you should probably ask.  When you need to get bodies in a uniform, you’ll have to lower the bar.  That means the citizens are not getting the best.  Join us this Saturday on Behind the Blue Curtain when we’ll be discussing “Is your Department the Next DPD”  Call-in at 646-716-4621 and press 1 to weigh in the conversation.  I do NOT speak for the City of Waco, the Waco Police Department, the Officers, Civilian Employees or Citizens of Waco.  My opinions are based on my personal and professional experiences.
