INCARCERATED TO DEATH

What  is wrong with America’s Criminal Justice System?  People who  have not been convicted of a Capital Offense are dying in American Prisons from things like dehydration and lack of medical treatment!  My God!  How can America hold itself up as a leader in the human rights conversation and turn a blind eye to the everyday human rights violations that occur in this country's prisons, under the auspices of the United States Penal Institution. Its mind numbing at the least. For those who say "they shoudl'nt have done the crime", be careful,  you could very well end up there. America’s jails,  by and large are not institutions of correction.  Many of them are warehouses,  where men and women are marginalized and programmed to remain in a perpetual state of ignorance and helplessness.  My niece Monique Mason was a victim of this indifference and irresponsibility at the hands of so-called “professionals” at the Dauphin County Jail in Harrisburg.  Pennsylvania. Fortunately, her mother  Susan Mason was not the type to call the preacher first, picket, march and wait for justice.  She went after their asses through their very own system.  It’s amazing how the correctional system is willing to correct the behavior of inmates while remaining blind to the issues in their own back yard.  I have several guests that have been incarcerated and are willing to call out the BS they’ve experienced firsthand.  Join us this Saturday, June 16, at 10:00 AM CST, as we take a closer look at the treatment and conditions occurring in America's jails.  I do NOT speak for the City of Waco, the Waco Police Department, the Officers, Civilian Employees or Citizens of Waco.  My opinions are based on my personal and professional experiences.
