This Saturday I want to open the lines and the show for callers to weigh in on topics and incidents going on regarding Police and Citizen Relations throughout the country.  Everyone’s opinion is welcomed.  I don’t do political speech here so please no politics.  We can talk about Michael Bennet's situation, was he singled out?  Profiled or just another victim of circumstance?  I'll speak about the need for more Officers to speak up about some of the things us as Officers know are wrong.  We'll touch on how the unwillingness or inability of Officers to speak up has become an immediate threat to Officer Safety on the streets.  If the Citizens feel that their voice is unheard and the Departments Justice is not fair they become frustrated.  If jury’s are unable or unwilling to convict Officers, especially in cases like Terrence Crutcher in Tulsa who was killed by then Officer Betty Shelby because she was "afraid" or Officer Schlagle who shot unarmed Walter Scott and was awarded a mistrial because a juror could not bring himself to convict a Police Officer. But later took a plea deal.  James Baldwin said "I can’t believe what you say because I see what you do."  I do not speak for the City of Waco, the Waco Police Department, the Officers, Civilian Employees or citizens of Waco.  My opinions are based on my personal and professional experiences.
