Today we’re going to discuss Black on Black Crime. The topic is a tough one and is sure to spark a lot of emotions.  However, the conversation has to be had.  We’ll also be joined by Dr. Monica Lewis who is from DeSoto, Texas and a native of Hampton, Virginia were there had been a drastic increase of gang and black on black crime. Monica started the movement #TakeBackHampton to eradicate violence in her hometown while visiting Hampton in June after there was three murders in one week, one which included one of Hampton High School and Perdue University star quarterback Eric (Rick) Hunter.  Bring your opinions and EVERYONE is welcomed to chime in.  The topic is not White on White Violence, we know that exists also and this show is not meant to say Black on Black Violence is greater, lesser or any different than White on White Violence.  Black on Black Violence has become a topic that many African American leaders won’t touch or handle with kid gloves.  Bring your passion, opinions, stories, proposals and solutions.  Let’s talk about it together and learn from each other.  If you’d like to call in the number is 646-716-4621 then press 1 to be recognized.  Hope to see you all there.  Knowledge is Power!
