One of the most talked about positions in preparation for the 2018 season has been the Indianapolis Colts cornerback unit. Chris Ballard didn't draft one, hasn't added any big names throughout the offseason and now fans want to see what the top of the position can do after getting a major vote of confidence from the second-year GM. Most every Colts fan is more than excited to see what the team's 2017 second-round pick, Quincy Wilson, can do in his second season with the team. Pierre Desir may not be in the long-term plan for the team, but he will be counted on to hold his own in a more familiar scheme to his skill set.

There are a large host of rookies looking to make their move in the NFL, Kenny Moore is beloved by Ballard, Nate Hairston far outplayed his draft value and guys like D.J. White hope to give some credence to being brought in last season and take advantage of their opportunities to become legitimate depth for the position.

I don't think anyone can say that this position isn't one that deserves a close eye through the preseason to see exactly what they can bring to a very young defensive unit.
