Shout For Victory

Thursday September 10, 2015 @ 9PM CST… Theme for the week: “He Wants You To”. I will be speaking from the book of Luke 22:31-34

Here we see Jesus speaking to Simon (Who's sir name is Peter) and tells him that Satan desires to have him, that he may sift him as wheat. This verse allows us to realize that no matter how close we are to Jesus Satan still wants to have us. To shake all the good qualities out of us. To shake the very foundation that we stand on as Christians, that solid rock Jesus. This is why as Christians we cannot ever think that we have arrive at a place where we become over confident and think we have arrive at a place where we are safe and so holy that the devil want do us any harm.
