Helen Baylor*
The song, “Helen’s Testimony”, became a tool for leading hurting people to Jesus as she candidly shares her life struggles with drug addiction and proudly proclaims, “I had a prayin’ grandmother”.
Baylor’s accomplishments have been noted by her four Grammy nominations, four Stellar Awards, two Dove Awards and one Soul Train Lady of Soul Award. Today, Helen shares her music ministry both nationally and internationally.
Helen Baylor is currently co-producing a film based on her life story with award-winning filmmaker Cassandra Hollis and she is also excited to be working on a new album.

Cassandra Hollis has directed, produced and written 8 Films, many of which are award winning. Award-winning SAG film, THE ALTAR, is aired 2011 - 2013 on the TCT television network in the U.S. It is currently airing on television networks in the UK and South Africa. Cassandra's three-part film series about the Underground Railroad, MATTIE, JOHNNY AND SMOOTH WHITE STONES: PARTS I, II, & III, was selected for inclusion in the National Park Service Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Program and distributed in schools, universities and libraries throughout the U.S. and Canada.
