Jason has been an athlete his whole life. By the age of ten Jason earned a Black Belt in martial arts, by the age of fifteen he had won numerous Junior Olympic titles and by twenty years of age he had won many other Olympic level titles. Jason was presented the outstanding award as “Boxer of the Year” in 1997 following Roy Jones Jr., Oscar de La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather who also had won this same title. Jason was rated #1 in the US in 1997, 1998 and 1999 winning many World titles and finished off his career with an outstanding record of over 150 wins. Jason is proudly in the Hall of Fame for amateur boxing.
