Spiritual Perspectives: God and Quantum Physics

I am so excited to welcome Marilu Diaz, an amazing woman who studies quantum physics, psychology, philosophy, religion, spirituality, occult sciences, history, science, mathematics, and astronomy.

We will talk about many things including "The God Particle." I admit all this is new to me, so I asked Marilu to explain what the God Particle is: 

"The God Particle is what is known as the Higgs Boson. It is that thing which gives particles mass and it is part of a bigger Higgs field. Here's an analogy: Different particles are like a crowd of people running through mud. Some particles, like quarks, have big boots that get covered with lots of mud; others, like electrons, have little shoes that barely gather any mud at all. Photons don't wear shoes—they just glide over the top of the mud without picking any up. And the Higgs field is the mud. Some people think that this field is actually the love that binds and creates everything - hence the term The God Particle."
