ReSpec CLASSICS #151: Jesus Is My Homeboy...Right?!?!

Fresh off the all new "Pause" episode of the Boondocks, which outright accuses a very "Tyler Perry-esque" character of running a filmmakers cult of sorts with "Jesus" as his partner, whom he claims has instructed him to write and act in plays starring various, muscular Black men, about Black women's problems, while dressed as a woman himself... in what turns out to be nothing more than a ploy to satisfy his own homosexual desires by taking advantage of his many male actors (if you got all that)??? We will be discussing a few of the issues related to the everyday uses, or MIS-uses of religion to either satisfy one's own personal agenda at the expense of many unsuspecting faithful followers... Or the helpless and hapless claim that faith by way of God is merely your own personal trampoline designed for nothing more than repeatedly saving you from your own reckless, irresponsible and/or self-destructive actions in life... wow. So before you decide to skip that next car note or mortgage payment because "God, Jesus or Obama will not let you fail", you might want to tune in and get the facts... without the folklore.
