Our guest today is Mark Whitney. Mark has over 20 years as a stand up comic and public speaker, and he will be comparing the Toastmasters Meeting Speech to the Toastmasters Contest Speech, and distinguishing why it's so important to know the difference between the two types of speeches.

Additionally, Mark will be talking about the Written Word vs. the Spoken Word, and how you can use that distinction to create a deeper connection with your audience.

Mark is the host of "Bring Your Show: The Art and Craft of Live Storytelling". Mark's show focuses on Storytelling and the understanding of the classic three act story, which is the thing the connects the best stand-up comedians, competitive Toastmasters, podcasters, one person show artists, Ted Talkers and Keynoters.
