Using spoken word poetry to promote a cause

A few week's ago we interviewed the founder of Books of Hope. This week we are interviewing a poet and Musician: Pete Shungu (Afro DZ ak) http://www.myspace.com/afrodzak. About an event he is having to raise funds at East meets West,a bookstore located midway between Harvard Square and Central Square on Mass Ave in Cambridge. This event is ALL AGES! A $3 donation is requested at the door to support the bookstore. The event will benefit Casa San Jose orphanage in Colima, Mexico, where he and his fiance will be volunteering this coming year.
