Spartan Life Radio: Are You Ready for Some Football?

Are you ready for some Spartan football? We're talking to coaches and a player or two on this issue of Spartan Life Radio. The Spartans return 15 starters from last year's team and welcome a promising recruiting class of freshmen and transfers this year. Join your host Michael Cotter as he talks football with Spartan head coach Latrell Scott. The Spartans will be led coach Scott, who comes to NSU after compiling a 19-4 record, one CIAA championship and an NCAA Division II playoff victory over a successful two-year stint at Virginia State. The Norfolk State football team opens its 2015 season on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Non-conference games include matchups with Rutgers University, ODU and Marshall, all on the road. Home games include MEAC contests with Hampton, North Carolina A&T, Savannah State and South Carolina State.
