Dedication: Army SSgt Chris Engeldrum, 39, of Bronx, N.Y. and Army Spc. Wilfredo F. Urbina, 29, of Baldwin, N.Y., Died November 29, 2004 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom, assigned to 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, New York Army National Guard, New York City; killed Nov. 29 when their military vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Baghdad.

Southern Sense is a show of conservative talk on news and events, with Annie "The Radio Chick" Ubelis as host and  as co-host.

Guest: John Byrnes, Concerned Veterans For America, http://cv4a.org/

John Byrnes is the Concerned Veterans for America field representative for North Carolina.  He served as a Marine non-commissioned officer and now serves in the Army National Guard. He responded to the September 11 attacks in New York City, and deployed to Iraq in 2004 and Afghanistan in 2008.

Simply put, CVA’s mission is to advocate for policies that will preserve the freedom and liberty that we and our families so proudly fought and sacrificed to defend.

The goal of Concerned Veterans for America is to translate the experience, concerns and hopes unique to veterans and their families into a common vision of freedom. We apply this unique perspective to speak out on issues that threaten to cripple not only our economic and national security, but the spirit of opportunity and liberty that all Americans cherish.

Informative, fun, irreverent and politically incorrect, you never know where we'll go, but you'll love the journey!
