GYLI is giving youth opportunities to gain necessary skills to be a successful leader while they:

• Learn to sail and navigate a tall ship, hike a 10,000-ft mountain in New Mexico, or stay with a family of farmers in Costa Rica
• Meet and collaborate with students from schools across the U.S. and Costa Rica
• Explore the full meaning of cultural identity, religious pluralism, environmental sustainability and collaborative leadership and how to make these an active part of your life
• Lead a project that you implement in your home community
