Jason Stone, "The Stepfather of Soul," is an Atlanta lawyer who is the host of "Get on Down with the Stepfather of Soul!" on Rockin' Radio (stepfatherofsoul.blogspot.com). Jason is a long-time record collector and aficionado of '60s and '70s soul, funk, blues, jazz and gospel.

In 2005, he launched his "Get on Down with the Stepfather of Soul!" blog, which was recognized by The Guardian as one of the best free music blogs on the Internet. The blog is now home to "Soul on the Air," the largest archive of R&B radio airchecks on the Internet.
