This week, John Carosella hosts Convergence. He'll take us on a journey into shamanism, science, and mysticism, exploring our beautiful world.

We're approaching the Winter Solstice 2012. It's the end of the Mayan calendar, and transformation is upon us. How do we transform? Isn't this time time of year to "be still"? How do we do both at the same time?

Join John in conversation with HeatherAsh Amara as they discuss her book "The Toltec Path of Transformation". HeatherAsh and John will talk about "re-crafting the self" in this powerful time. Beginning in 1994, HeatherAsh apprenticed with and taught extensively with don Miguel Ruiz, author of "The Four Agreements", and in 2001, she founded the Toltec Center of Creative Intent. HeatherAsh's writings and teachings are a rich blend of Toltec wisdom, European shamanism, Buddhism, and Native American ceremony.

John will also share reflections on Isa, the Norse rune of ice and stillness, and share teachings he received about the role of stillness in sleep, and the role of sleep in healing and rejuvenation.

John also hosts this week's roundtable: "Stillness", with co-hosts Deb Carosella, HiC, and Mildred Lynn McDonald. We'll finish with our occasional segment "Fire and Water", where John and Deb share the magic of two opposite views -- this time, on sleep.
