The four part HBO documentary chronicling the careers of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine has made huge waves and ratings this past week.

One of those featured is hip hop pioneer Alonzo Williams, who help found the World Class Wreckin' Cru, which was the start of Dr. Dre's career as an artist. He alos found several record labels that worked with Ice Cube and Eazy E.

His new audio book "N.ot W.ithout A.lonzo" is currently out on Amazon and chronicles his contribution to the hip hop community and especially the Wesy Coast scene.

We will talk to Williams about the book, the documentary, and how hip hop has advanced thrughout the decades.
