There is a movement happening. It is a quiet one however a critical one. Patients are finding their voice and are driving conversations in various arenas that are not necessarily in your traditional healthcare space. The movement has grown significantly since the advent of the social web.  They are driving change.

 

This episode launches the segment of collaborationin the Health care sector.  I interview Val Purser of South Metro Health Alliance. We will be shining a light on community healthcare management and collaboration. There are some wonderful things happening in this space.

Partnering for accessible healthcare With a degree in Marketing, Val Purser has over 20 years of experience in not- for- profit, for- profit and government program management. Before joining the South Metro Health Alliance in October of 2011, Ms. Purser served as Volunteer Coordinator for Arapahoe County Government for five years.
