What if you develop a brain tumor? What does that mean for your future? What if one of your children had brain cancer and you didn't have the finances for treament? Who would you turn to for emotional, physical and spiritual support?

The Oklahoma Brain Tumor Foundation is your source for guidance and peace of mind during the toughest of times.  Understand what services you or a family member are eligible for through OKBTF.  Learn how you can help support those who so desperately need your help.

Founder and President Nancy Thomason lost her 17 month old son, Cade, to a brain stem tumor in February, 2000.  At that time she vowed to fight the disease in honor and memory of her son.

Nancy founded the Oklahoma Brain Tumor Foundation and began the first support group specifically for brain tumor patients in the State of Oklahoma.  In 2001 Nancy was appointed to a committee with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for her work as a cancer advocate.  She consults and works with NCI on cancer clinical trials and issues affecting families with brain tumors.

She has been sought for consultation on Patients Rights issues for grant applications submitted by the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium and most major cancer treatment centers in the United States for funding amounts in excess of $30 million.
