Jesus Christ refers to himself as the Morning Star, and most modern bibles refer to Lucifer as the Morning Star.

Revelation 22:16 KJV  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Isaiah 14:12 KJV  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Lucifer or morning star Translation:  The name Lucifer has been changed to "Morning Star" in the follwoing modern English translations of Isaiah 14:12  New International Version, New Century Version, New American Standard Bible, Good News Translation, Holman Christian Standard Bible, Contemporary English Version, Common English Bible, Complete Jewish Bible, "daystar" (New Jerusalem Bible, English Standard Version, The Message), "shining one" (New Life Version, New World Translation, JPS Tanakh) or "shining star" (New Living Translation).

Bible Translator Says, 'I'm In Trouble With The Lord.'  Dr. Frank Logsdon, member of the translation committee for the New American Standard Version (NASB), has denounced his work.  Logsdon said, "I'm in trouble; I can't refute these arguments; it's wrong; it's terribly wrong; it's frightfully wrong; and what am I going to do about it?"  Logsdon wrote: "I must under God renounce every attachment to the New American Standard."      (...lest God take away his part out of the book of life)
