Illisoulife

Illisoullife, originally Illisoul was founded by Leonard Gary (Anton Genius and Jeff Jackson. Originally a superb collective of Soul and HipHop artist. They were known for having some of the dopest music events in Chicago. The Illisoul Live spearheaded a end of live mixtape shows in the city.

In 2008 Illisoul teamed up with W2 Inc., founded by Larry and Kareem Wilson. W2 was known for being the catalyst of the "paid open mic" concept as well as managing up and coming artist. Together they formed a very strong unit, which not only had a roster of talented artist but they also developed a blogsite and internet radio show.

In 2009, Illisoul disbanded and became Illisoulife, spearheaded by Leonard, Larry and Kareem. They moved Illisoulife into becoming a very strong local brand management/marketing company. They shifted their focus from radio to improve Illisoulife.com and partner with other to effectively promote undiscovered and undrerappreciated artist. Expanding their company into consulting and event management and media.

In the last 4 years they have made strides and have become one of the top blogs in Chicago and the Midwest. In 2013 Illisoulife grew and now they have Illisoulife.com and Illisoulifeblog.tumblr.com. This was done because of the high demand and to expand their reach. It has brought them one step closer to becoming the only Lifestyle Encyclopeia in the Country.
