Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. (Psalm 37:3-6)
No person or company of people, no power in earth can touch your soul as you abide in Christ without first passing through His encircling presence and receiving the seal of His permission. If God be for you who can be against you. Nothing can disturb you or harm you, except God shall see that it si best for you, and shall stand aside to let it pass.
What is needed is to see God in everything and to receiving everything directly from His hands, with no intervention of second causes. By Him and Him alone. It is to just this point that you must be brought to before you can know an abiding experience of entire abandonment and perfect trust in Him! Your abandonment must be to God, not to man and your trust must be in Him, not in any arm of another or flesh.
