where is hell? whats hell purpose? can what we been taught about hell really be a lie?

THE TRUTH AND PURPOSE OF THE HELL IS... IT'S A PLACE OF THE DEAD. WHO ARE THE DEAD THOUGH? THE BIBLE TELLS US TO BE OF A CARNAL MIND IT IS DEATH. King david said this in the book of psalms, Psalm 139:7-10 7 Where shall I go from your Spirit Or where shall I flee from your presence 8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in hell (sheol), you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. IS KING DAVID MAKES HIS BED IN HELL BUT THERE SEEMS TO BE A CONTRADICTION IN WHAT WE SUPPOSEDLY BEEN TAUGHT. luke 9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. SO MY POINT IS, BEING SEPARATED FROM GOD IS A PLACE OF TORMENT BECAUSE YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS OF THIS WORLD, MEANING THAT YOU ARE GOVERN BY THE PRINCIPALITIES OF THIS AGE.
