^{Rae Luskin is a Chicago artist, author, and community activist. Rae received a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Roosevelt University and a Master’s Degree in urban planning from Loyola University. In 1999, she founded Art & Soul Connectionswhichis dedicated to providing easy to follow hands-on, playful expressive arts activities, workshops and tools for self discovery, personal growth and healing.}

^{In her personal journey of healing from childhood sexual abuse, Rae has grown from 'Survivor to Thriver' using art. For the last fifteen years she has been involved in education and advocacy issues associated with domestic violence and sexual abuse through the National Council of Jewish Womenand theJ-CAREScoalition (Jewish community abuse, resources, education and solutions). In January of 2010, she founded Survivor SOULutionsto educate communities, empower survivors, and encourage the people who love them to end the “epidemic” of childhood sexual abuse. She believes ”we need honest, open communication to take the ‘fear’ out of sexual abuse so that people can feel empowered to create change.” In her personal journey from childhood sexual abuse, Rae grew from 'Survivor to Thriver' through the arts. Sharing her personal story,artwork, and innovative art and soul based activities, she has changed the lives of hundreds of people.}
