Dr. Stewart is currently serving as an Electrical Engineer for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Dahlgren, VA.
Dr. Stewart is a native of Taylor, MS and honor graduate of Lafayette High School in Oxford, MS. Dr. Stewart attended Northwest Jr. College in Senatobia, MS and the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) both on an athletic scholarship where she majored in computer science and electrical engineering respectively. She had the opportunity to play professional basketball for Peru, Australia and tour in Italy after her collegiate years were finished.
