2 mothers generations apart share similar and very different outcomes. How do we reverse the intergenerational harm caused by incarceration and rebuild a life interrupted? These mothers have survived the carceral system and more, they have reduced the recidivism rate, for mothers. The work they are doing has given them a chance to give back, all this is possible with community, resources, and opportunities. This is Part 1, we look to the future, for more real conversations.
