Thank you for being a voice of reason regarding this situation. I am so happy to hear someone responsible giving the perspective of self responsibility as opposed to blame. I still feel that James has and had valuable information and i know that he is a charasmatic and powerful energy AND people do need to be responsible for themselves. I admire your ability to look at your own possible reactions had you been a participant. I think you are correct in your assesment that people were trying

...there is a reason the Natives had figured that out. Babies can sustain high brain temps better than adults. Hi temps in adults is detrimental. It's a tragedy to come from good intent. James was trying to help lead his group to be exceptional. He just crossed the boundaries of the physical limits. He just didn't realize that some boundaries have to be respected.

Thank you Shawna for giving your perspective. Body temp is controlled by the hypothalamus. Heat stroke takes temp control away. And decision making is usually highly impaired when the temp of the brain is too high. H2O Restriction impairs the body's ability to regulate the temp automatically. There after, it must be maintained by external means. The air to cool between would have made a difference. The brains would not have sustained high temps without a bit of cooling. 4 rounds would be max...t

James Ray must have been in the exact"vibration" to attract this kind of thing into his life, if he believes what he teaches about L.O.A. That means he is a fraud and morally responsible for those who entrusted themselves in him. He does need to take responsibility and stop making excuses!!

I just wanted to thank you for this. I have attended 3 of his retreats and volunteered as a Dream Teamer for several others. I know how things work with James Ray. I understand the concept of "playing full on". I have been trying to wrap my head around what has happened in Sedona. I have never attended Spiritual Warrior, but I have been in 1 sweat and my husband has been in several. We are very familiar with what is suppose to happen in a lodge, and we recognize that something wen

dies! This isn’t the first or the second time this type of thing has happened in Sedona!
The government will take this and run with it. It is clear that the cause of death for these people was lack of oxygen! If no one was getting oxygen, they should have lifted the “back door”. But on the other side of things, the inipi is a good place to die. It is the most sacred place. You are in touch with Tunkasila. He put people on Vision Quest? Wow, this guy is no Wicasa Wakan. He has no right to put anyone on the hill for their vision. It is sad how it only gets people’s attention when some

My first time in the inipi was when I was 7 months old. This is my way of life. I’ve been sweating my whole life-18 years. This is the oldest ceremony on this contenent and it just seems that in these past couple decades, it is being disrespected by people like James Ray. It hurts my heart that people are doing things like this. Non-Natives conducting these sacred ceremonies. Four rounds of the sweat is all it is supposed to be. I am so infuriated right now!! It gives us Natives a bad way. The g
