Living Outside of Your Comfort Zone

Beginning a Shakespeare company in Detroit has been quite the adventure. It has been an incredible catalyst for trying new things from directing "Othello" to fundraising -- both experiences have taken me completely out of my wheelhouse. 

Shakespeare in Detroit has taken me out of my comfortable professional and personal comfort zone into a whole new world where I am scared to death but now know that anything is possible.My growth hasn't been comfortable, but it has been incredible!

What have you done this year out of your comfort zone and how has it helped you grow? If you haven't done that thing that you've been dying to do because it is out of your comfort zone, what would it take for you to do it in 2014?
