Seedtime and Harvest

This is the teaching and preaching ministry of Bishop Lyndon Hutcherson. He is the Founder of Amazing Grace Ministries a non-denominational ministry with a mandate to... Restore Worship and Rebuild Lives with the Word of God through global evangelism and discipleship. "As long as the earth remains, there will always be Seedtime and Harvest" and a sower wnet out to sow his seed and as he was scattering seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. Some fell on rock, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked out the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown. When he had said this, he called out..., He who has ears to hear, let him hear...." (Gen 8:22, Luke 8:5-15). Contact us if you would like to order a copy of any of the messages on CD for your personal library or as a gift for a friend.

The second part of the "Great Commandment", according to Jesus, is to "love thy neighbor as thyself" (Matthew 22:39). The last six of the Ten Commandments deal with our relationships to others. When we follow these principles, we are able to live in harmony with one another and experience the blessings life offers. If we don't follow them, we often find ourselves experiencing serious problems in our relationships with others and life in general.

The Ten Commandments - Part 1

The Great Commandments which calls us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves is the real foundation of all spirituality. We know this to be true because Jesus declared that all the Law and the Prophets were fulfilled through love. We cannot please the Lord without fulfilling these love relationships. Today's study examines the commandments that address our relationship with God. By learning how we can keep them, we learn how to live to honor Him and show we love Him.

  • Original Air Date:

    Obedience to God's Commands

This week's study acknowledges the responsibility believers have to obey God, and rely on God's grace and love to be obedient. He wants love to be the basis for everything we do for Him. Although there are consequences for rebellion against God's holy standards, God wants to create in us a desire to be obedient based on love.

  • Original Air Date:

    Be Holy

Our holiness, like our forgiveness, is completely tied to God's work in our lives. Like forgiveness, holiness is not something we can assume is true or suppose is clear to others. This week's study reminds students that God's standard of holiness for the believer is maturity, yet our holy standing in His sight can be assured through His race.

  • Original Air Date:

    God's Ultimate Solution For Sin

This week's study examines Jesus death and resurrection as fulfillment of God's plan to redeem lost humnanity, a plan illustrated throughout the Old Testament by sacrificial ceremonines. This begins our study on how The Gospel Fulfills the Law.

  • Original Air Date:

    Ministering In Adversity

It often seems that adversity occurs when ministry for God is attempted. What is vital to this issue is how Christians respond to adversity when it does come. Today we will study adversities that Paul faced in his efforts to minister for Christ. From this we will learn how God gives Christians the strength and courage to minister in all circumstances.

  • Original Air Date:

    Testifying About Christ

In today's study we will review Paul's testimony before KingAgrippa to learn how we can use it a as model for witnessing of Christ. By better preparing ourselves to be witnesses, we can have more confidence that can continue to row as we experience the joy that comes from being obedient to His call to proclaim the gospel.

  • Original Air Date:

    Encouraging Godly Leaders

In this study we will look at the lasting influence of godly leaders. We will see how we can honor and encourage them. By being godly leaders ourselves, we can take what these people have invested in our lives and invest it in the lives of others we meet.
