Dreamers Radio is pleased to welcome Amy Harmon, author of A Different Blue and Making Faces.
Taken from Amy Harmon's website:
"Amy Harmon is a USA Today and New York Times Bestselling author. Amy knew at an early age that writing was something she wanted to do, and she divided her time between writing songs and stories as she grew. Having grown up in the middle of wheat fields without a television, with only her books and her siblings to entertain her, she developed a strong sense of what made a good story.
Amy Harmon has been a motivational speaker, a grade school teacher, a junior high teacher, a home school mom, and a member of the Grammy Award winning Saints Unified Voices Choir, directed by Gladys Knight. She released a CD in 2007 called "What I Know" - also available on Amazon and wherever digital music is sold. She has written five novels, Running Barefoot, Slow Dance in Purgatory, Prom Night in Purgatory, the New York Times Bestseller, A Different Blue, and her newest release, MAKING FACES."
Her novels truly make their way in to your soul and force you to experience everything, a true gift. Find our more about the author below and be sure to pick up one of her novels prior to showtime!
The Charles Walker Band is Charles Walker - Saxophone/Keyboards, Porsche Carmon - Vocals/Hand Percussion, Brad Karas - Bass Guitar, Terence Pettigrew - Drums.
Not only are they superlative funk, R&B and blues artists, but their love of every performance fosters that excitement in their audiences.
I will sit with Charles and discuss his career and the bands hopes for the future.
Zac Harmon needs little introduction to most blues aficionados.
Since his high school days performing with Z.Z. Hill, Dorothy Moore and Sam Myers to today, Zac has garnered praise for his musicianship and songwriting skills.
Zac and I will explore his history and his future while checking out tunes from his latest, Music Is Medicine.
Christine Ohlman is a powerhouse singer who is the current, long-time vocalist with the Saturday Night Live Band.
Her credits are as long as anyone you know, including performing at the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Concert in Cleveland, the Carnegie Hall tribute to the Rolling Stones, and the 2012 WC Handy Festival (where she was the special guest of the Blind Boys Of Alabama).
Christine will take her seat and discuss her career as we listen to songs from her latest, The Deep End.
First Monday of the month means Chefjimi will be bringing us his Blues411 Report.

Jeremy Hill plays like he's being controlled by a Madden console, and that's not necessarily a good thing. Benny Cunningham is coming for Zac Stacy's lunch.

The NL Central has come calling for the Pittsburgh Pirates, who are trying to recover from a terrible losing streak to get back in playoff position. City of Champions co-editors Matt Gajtka, Larry Snyder and Zac Weiss return to discuss how the Bucs can do just that on this week's Three Rivers...One Show, the flagship program on CoC Radio. Who needs to raise their performance level for the Pirates to take advantage of crucial games against the Brewers and Cardinals? Why do they always seem to suffer through a slump at this time of the year? Are their playoff hopes already cooked? Meanwhile, the Steelers suffered through a beating at the hands of the Eagles in their third preseason game. What has stood out so far in exhibition play, good or bad?
Join us tonight, we got one hell of a show planned for you guys. We will be jumping into the wonderful world of the NFL, MLB and NBA. I will be joined by my co-host Sam Edwards at 10 PM EST and we will be joined at 10:05 PM EST by NASCAR driver Mike Harmon. Make sure you tune in!!!!
City of Champions co-editors Matt Gajtka, Larry Snyder and Zac Weiss join forces for the latest episode of Three Rivers...One Show, the flagship program on City of Champions Radio. The up-and-down Pittsburgh Pirates are the primary topic again this week, as they attempt to stay in playoff contention despite missing key players due to injury. What is a reasonable expectation for this team as they continue a difficult stretch in their schedule? How should we assess their performance without Andrew McCutchen, Neil Walker and Gerrit Cole? Also, the Steelers prepare for their first home preseason game this weekend against the Bills. Can LeGarrette Blount be what the team hopes he can be - a good counterpunch to Le'Veon Bell in the Pittsburgh backfield? Finally, the guys relate their Final Thoughts on the week in sports, both local and elsewhere.
going where no one has gone before...
I will be broadcasting the Saturday evening teaching from the Restoration in the River conference in Seekonk, MA. Hold on to your seats - buckle yourselves in - this is another great teaching. How hungry are you? How much of God can you get?
I would like to ask that those that feel led to do so send a thank you email to Pastor Zac for letting us use his facility. Wasn't that an awesome prophecy Augusto spoke over him? PastorZac@hisprovidencechurch.org

City of Champions co-editors Matt Gajtka, Larry Snyder and Zac Weiss get together for this week's edition of Three Rivers, One Show, the flagship program of the City of Champions Radio network. The guys dig into the Pittsburgh Pirates to start the show, as injuries to Andrew McCutchen and Neil Walker have hamstrung the team for the time being. Can they expect to keep up their pace without two of their most important players? Who has impressed the most in their absence? Should expectations be adjusted for this team? Also, the Steelers begin their preseason this weekend against the Giants. What are some things to look for in the exhibition season? Matt, Larry and Zac then close the program with their Final Thoughts before signing off.
The MLB non-waiver trade deadline has come and gone, and for the second consecutive year the Pittsburgh Pirates have decided to stand pat. City of Champions co-editors Matt Gajtka, Zac Weiss and Larry Snyder discuss what the Bucs' inactivity means to their postseason chances on the latest episode of Three Rivers...One Show on CoC Radio. Can Neal Huntington find a way to add through the waiver trade process? What was it about this year's trade market that left the Pirates out in the cold? Also, the guys address the start of Steelers training camp and a couple bits of news that have emerged from Latrobe.
