    in Hip Hop Music

Great Morning and welcome back to the show. Today we are asking our Heavenly Father to "PREPARE US" for that which is to come. In other words, we are aware of the fact that time is rapidly running out and we need proper preparation because the end is near.

"Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed." (ROMANS 13:8)

    What The Father Promised

    in Religion

Please  join me Tuesday May 19th at 11 am CST as we continue talking about the Gifts of The Spirit.

Did you know - it was a command to wait for the promise of The Father?

Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me; (Acts 1:4)

for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." (Acts 1:5)

but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

To receive power to be His witnesses..

This is confirmed again in Mark 16 - The Great Commission in His power .

Hope you can join me! Char

    Voids from an Absent Father

    in Self Help

Since Father's Day is coming up, I thought it would be good to speak on this being that we have focused a lot on healing this season. I know from experience the voids that occur from not have had a father in one's life. A lot of bad lifestyles and decisions we see today especially in the African American community, stem from being fatherless.

This is not to say that mothers do not play a major role, but their role is different. A mother cannot take the place of a father. Even another father figure cannot fully take the place. There is something divine and special when the man who you share the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical similarities with makes a decision in love to care for his own child.

Hope someone can relate and find healing. Also, hopefully others who grew up with loving father will better understand the lives on the others on the opposite of the spectrum

Son To A Father with CEO Cole Williams

    in Dads and Family

My name is Cole Williams and I carry the stories of a generation of boys and girls who are fatherless. I was born and raised in Benton Harbor, MI, to a single mother. I met my biological father for the first time when I was 29 years old.

During my youth and even into my adult years I had always wondered who my father was. I wondered what we might have in common. I wondered what fatherly wisdom he would have shared with me. I had no answers to the things I wondered about.

I became a father at age16, I was determined to be a permanent presence in my son’s life. So that if he ever had questions he wondered about I would be there to answer them. Since I never had a father, it was difficult trying to be the father I never knew. I was a boy raising a boy. I had to learn while on the job of life about how to be a man and a father. My experiences and my struggle fuel’s my passion for working with youth and families across America.

    "The SINS of the FATHER!"

    in Dads and Family

Exodus 20:5 “You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me.”

Exodus 34:6-7 “The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation."

Is God saying that the children and the grandchildren of the father would have to pay for the sins of their father?  What does God mean by this?  Especially since Deuteronomy 24:16 says “Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin” and that “The son will not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son’s iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself” (Ez 18:20).

Today on P2T we will explore the true meaning of what the Sins of the Fathers has transferred to this millenial generation.

Our Father Who Art In Heaven

    in Christianity

If anyone was the perfect example on how to pray, Jesus was the perfect role model. If you read the Gospels in the New Testament, Jesus was always slipping away to pray to His heavenly Father. When the apostles saw Jesus and how He prayed like no one else, they proclaimed, Lord, teach us to pray ! And Jesus taught them what is now the universal prayer for all Christians, The Our Father. Let's talk about prayer and see where we all are in our prayer lives.

    You are NOT the Father!

    in Women

In this show we plan to tackle the controversy surrounding Father’s day and how many single mothers have chosen to hijack the day to honor themselves and to protest deadbeat dads!

We will ALSO provide solutions for how single mothers can help raise well-balanced children even though a father may not be in the home.

White On White Wednesday - Plus - I'm not embarrassed to be called a #MaleFeminist

    Hey gang.
The stories just weren't coming together for a white on white crime episode, so I decided to put the focus on a quesiton that was asked of me by one of the folks in the social networks.

    This is his quesiton.

To all the men on my news feed who are lightweight well versed in the feminisms like me, do you still sometimes get afraid or nervous when calling misogyny out in other men? I do. At least if it's someone I don't really know. Or I'm outnumbered in progressive opinions. Or if I do say something I get nervous and start to jumble my words and shit sounds really fragmented. And they usually don't end up listening anyway. Most times I get written off. But sometimes they do see the err. But they may say something else lightweight sexist that I'll let slide or address in a humorous manner because I'm afraid that they'll revert back to just being full on misogynists cause male ego and shit. All that to say, are any of my men friends afraid of men and/or addressing misogyny in men like me? I'd really love the feedback.

I'll be answering that and digging into some news and comment.

From there, I'll pass the microphone to Phoenix Calida and Lisa Loco.
