We stopped In Tombstone Arizona on the way back from Los Cruces New Mexico. My wife and I had both finished reading a couple of books about Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, and the OK Corral.
So we decided to make the detour and go see it
First the Bad News, while the parking is free, any attraction you might want to see charges admission
The Ghost town part of town reminded me to much “Knott’s Berry Farm” and or Calico. I would have preferred a deserted set of buildings and a walking tour
Again I sort of figured it was a tourist place so was not expecting too much
The road in / out of town is heavily patrolled so watch your speed
The Good News
We ate at “Big Nose Kate’s Saloon” the food was quite good , the service was great , the entertainment was pretty good, and was a neat place to eat and let one’s imagination take over and be there with Doc Holiday, and the others.
My wife and split a brisket Sandwich and a bowl of chili and each had a “Doc Holiday “to drink (Mr. Pub) but hey indulge me
They had a gentleman doing some street dancing for tips that while not western was rather interesting to watch
A lot of the residents are dressed in period clothing which gives the place that western look.
My wife bought some earrings at a Native American store as souvenirs.
Tombstone is a neat place to stop and visit , check off the bucket list, eat at “Big Nose Kate’s Saloon” and enjoy a couple of hours to break up that LONG I -10 drive BUT I do not foresee it has my favorite destination site yet
A bumper edition of The Right Side of the Pond!
After some hilariously poor predictions last week, the boys return to try and mop up some of the mess created by the Royal Rumble, and try to shine some light and positivity on the Road to Wrestlemania! First up, Joey Shinobi and 'Plan break out the Power 10 to look at what's on the path for 10 top guys (NB: much trolling takes place) before Maverick and Mazza take a closer look at the main event, and try and plot a course for Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar.

Tonight's special guest is Erica Hammel from Michigan, a mother who became an advocate and activist because of the childhood abuse of her young child a year ago. The boy, known as Wyatt The Warrior, nearly died from his injuries, and his mother, Erica, become a voice for victims of child abuse. The toddler was abused when he was just 1 year old (he turned 2 in October, 2014). Wyatt was physically assaulted (shaken baby syndrome) by the woman Erica's ex husband had left her for. The child suffered a major brain bleed, broken ribs, and permanent brain damage and, and was not expected to live. In fact Erica was told he might never even crawl. But after spending 7 weeks at Children's Hospital he was considered a living, breathing miracle. Wyatt is now walking and has literally beaten all the odds. Erica writes, "His father is not allowed to see him. His father's girlfriend had a criminal history of child abuse that he knew of (I didn't know) and he still left Wyatt alone with her. On the days he was going to work he told me Wyatt stayed with his mom." When criminal proceedings began, Erica had to quit her job because Wyatt needed full care. He currently does some sort of therapy 4xs a week. His main problems are he can't talk and he can't eat solid food. As Erica says it, "The fact that Wyatt's abuser had a previous history of child abuse sickened me." She wondered how someone who is convicted of physically abusing a child wasn't on a register sex offender registry." She concludes, "I had to speak up, I have to make a change. We need to protect our children, especially the ones who don't have a voice."

That won't be all that goes on, though, as this is the super awesome one year anniversary of The Late Shift and joining Steve will be his most frequent guest, fellow Brainbuster and Godfather of LOP Radio, Repo, (@bearforcewon)! There will be the obligatory looking back upon the year that was and looking forward to what the future holds.

The Road to WrestleMania has begun and kicking it all off is the always exciting Royal Rumble!
This year's event promised to be an intriguing one, as months of rumors have built towards lots of questions in the month or two leading up to the show. With the supposed new "favorite son" title up for grabs, as well as the return of a certain bearded Yes Man, the winner of that ticket to the WrestleMania main event was very much in question.
With the event now in the books, join us here on LOP Radio to hear all about exactly what went down. Your host, the Godfather of LOP Radio, Repo, (@bearforcewon), will be joined by the host of The Late Shift, Steve, (@YourAyatollah), and break down all the matches and exactly what impact they had upon the quickly approaching Showcase of the Immortals. Always one of the best and most discussion sparking events of the year, you won't want to miss our recap of WWE's Royal Rumble!
