Men: Can't live with them but Can't live without them, Maybe?

    in Current Events

Fun Saturday topic:  Men!  How do you choose them, why are they are just not what you planned on to fullfill you in life?  Are they dried up bread, like snakes in the grass or heavy as lard?  Today we are going to have fun discussing men and sharing stories and thoughts around all their qualities.  Do we really need a man to complete us and take out the garbage?  Perhaps it is time for us to empower ourselves and not look for men to carry the load, we truly can carry our own load and it is a whole other level when looking for a man when you have stepped it up.

Casual conversation today with Morgan Rose, author of On Becoming NaughtABimbeaux:  The Smart Woman's Guide to Finding her Prince without ever Kissing another Frog.  Morgan has a great story to share and all the tumbles along the way to discovering men and how they fit in to our lives.

HOW TO EXPERIENCE LOVE OF EVERYTHING IN LIFE WITHOUT ALL THE ATTACHMENTS!!!

    in Self Help

Why do we get attached to things people and outcomes?

We get so attached to our possessions and everything we do. We get attached to our own perceptions and understanding, the way we do things, to places, to outcomes, not to mention our attachments to our expectations  of  the many people close to us  in our lives, not knowing that all of our attachments will only bring us distress, sadness and grief.

We become attached to people and things because it serves a perceived need which, we think, if attained will complete us somehow.

Good and bad" aren't really good concepts to label attachments. Let's just say that attachment is non-productive. All things arise due to causes and conditions, are changing andvery temporary. All sentient beings want true happiness, however, happiness cannot come about by being attached to anything which will ultimately no longer serve you.

Since the goal of all sentient beings is to be happy, attachments to things that don't really bring true happiness is not logical at all.   Nothing in life is permanent, it doesn't last. Attachment to anything which isn't permanent means that eventually you will lose it, which would ultimately lead to suffering.

Join me Janice Clarke, Holistic Health Practitioner, Master Herbalist, Nutritional Consultant, Reiki Practitioner and HOST OF THE SOULFUL HEALING TALK SHOW as we discuss what exactly is attachment and all the things we attach ourselves to so we can feel happy.  And how we can live happy and fulfilling lives without experiencing the grief of attachment.

Another Powerful ME TIME all geared to enrich our lives...Catch you then...One Love~
