NJ.com Eagles beat writer Eliot Shorr-Parks returns to the Philly Pressbox Radio Roundtable to assess the Eagles' draft with Jim "Chet" Chesko and Bill Furman. At least one of these guys isn't happy with how everything worked out in Chip Kelly's first draft as the head personnel man. They'll also take a look at the draft in Dallas, Washington and the NY Giants, and the outlook for Sam Bradford as Eagles quarterback. Chet and Bill will also talk Phillies and Chase Utley, now hitting .103. Is it time for the Phillies to bite the bullet? We'll have our weekly Philly sports trivia courtesy of Carl's Cards and Collectibles as well. I had some technical issues during this one, but hopefully not too bad. I was disconnecte and had to call back in to rejoin the conversation about two minutes later... =) What did I miss?!
The live listeners were cut-off abruptly at the hour mark (lesson learned to schedule over the alloted time), but the recorded/archived version continued for about 15 minutes more until... the music was abruptly cut off! (Again lesson learned. =))

The 2015 NBA Draft is officially in the books!
Kentucky Wildcats power forward Karl-Anthony Towns was selected first overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Towns joins a T-Wolves squad that boasts reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins and well-respected big man Kevin Garnett.
With the second overall pick in the draft, the Los Angeles Lakers selected Ohio State Buckeyes point guard D'Angelo Russell. Intrigued by Russell's "star" power and explosive offensive arsenal, the Lakers skipped on highly-coveted rim protector Jahlil Okafor in favour of drafting the Buckeyes' skilled floor general.
Unsurprisingly, the Philadelphia 76ers, bearing the third overall pick, subsequently selected the aforementioned Jahlil Okafor. The 19-year-old Duke University product joins a Sixers front court that includes two former first round picks in Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid.
First Round - Top 15 Selections:
1. Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN)
