    Chit Chat Friday

    in Entertainment

My name is Deborah R. Brandon and I am a new author under Creative Flow Publishing. I released my very first book on June 22, 2015, entitled To Love and To Protect. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy reading as well. I have always enjoyed how the written word could take you on an amazing adventure. It has been an incredible journey filled with so many first. I have a wonderful supportive team in the other authors of Creative Flow.

I am married to my best friend and partner Alex Brandon. I am the mother of three beautiful children that I count as my miracle, my blessing and my joy. I am currently earning a degree in nursing with a minor in Human Services. Upon completion I hope to work in my field of study. I would also like to open and operate a faculty that helps and empowers women who are struggling with unplanned pregnancy and adoption, drug addiction and alcohol abuse, domestic violence situation, employment and education.

I strongly believe in social responsibility and plan to offer opportunities for advancement to youth in the communities and which my businesses will serve. Blessed with the ability to speak elegantly and boldly I also plan to be a voice of encouragement and empowerment for women ministries that call me to serve. Lastly, I would like to help further the growth of our country through political works, with a focus on Immigration reform, Drug Reform, Criminal Domestic Violence, and the like.

When Too Much is Too Much, How Do We Proceed When Expectations are Unrealistic?

    in Motivation

Tune in and We will Sort this out!

Another thing is also I find myself wanting to give up on life (even in my teens) whenever I feel my heart sinking but as usual my resilient self will set in. It may not be resilience but a choice that I don't want to dwell in it. How do I help myself? My son thinks most people are bad & is very judgmental. He doesn't have any close frens. He says he can't forgive me for things I said to him during his teens or things I didn't support him in etc. I can't even advise him as he will always tell me the 'realities' as he believes it & never fails to remind me that the 'rot' in him is because of me. How do I help him? Why do I get anxieties/fear that my son will not be pleased with certain things that we do eg giving chocs or cookies to colleagues without asking him whet he wants it or not. How do I not live this way? How do I make my love perfect (1 John 4:18)? I went to Elijah Hse (some classes on inner healing) wanting to know how to change to help my son. I didn't hv a very good childhood but I grew up thinking most people are good & everyone including myself says I am a happy go lucky person. But in EH I found myself crying in some topics. During some sessions I can cry for more than an hr (waves and waves just keep coming up from my belly to my throat) but I don't even know why. I was told I may hv self hatred and hopelessness. I also realised I don't know how to love myself (I can give my money to people easily but buying something for myself is a very hard thing.  I also know I wasn't in touch with my heart and that was why I always seem to be so busy. Last question is : I hv been praying to God/Jesus for wisdom and find myself striving but can't seem to feel any closer to God..

Tune in and Join in on the Conversation Tomorrow Morning at 5:30 AM, PST.

Chatting It Up With Ace Gucciano

    in Entertainment

Ace Gucciano, an Urban Fiction author from Georgia, is no stranger to the streets of Atlanta. While doing a bid, he read a great deal of Urban Fiction novels, but it wasn't until he came across the urban classic, Dutch by Terri Woods, he found a desire to write. Being that this book was similar to his lifestyle, he decided to pen his own story.

With this new-found passion, it led him to write four novels. He wanted to prove to everyone who doubted him that he could hustle his pen and paper the same way he hustled kilos of coke in the streets. Publishing his first novel Million Dollar Dreams and Federal Nightmares in 2015, Gucciano knew he was on to something great.

Later in 2015, he penned his second novel, Dream Chasers under his own publishing company Dollars 4 Dreams Publications. He is currently working on Dream Chasers 2 set to release 2015, along with Million Dollar Dreams and Federal Nightmares 2 and a host of many other great titles such as Never Trust A Big Butt and A Smile Series just to name a few.

For updates follow Ace Gucciano on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
