Black History, Hidden, Lost Found/Black History In The Bible

    in The Bible

Many Blacks/People of Color in America grew up without any knowledge of who we really are. No race on Earth history started 400 or so years ago. Some like to make this our starting point. Anything past the 400, we thought, was even more embarrassing than the slavery history we must deal with. Only, it was all one big lie. A nightmarish tale told to keep us from the knowledge of our true history...our glorious and tragic past. Heavenly Father told daddy Abraham ... 'Know for sure, your children will be enslaved and mistreated for 400 years in a land that is not their's." And so, we have come to the end of that 400 years. And, it is time for us to awake from our lost memory.

We will discuss our precious Black Bible history along with various secular history books. We will explore Biblical, historical and scientific evidence to prove Black people in America... once known as the "people of the Book" (Bible)... are the true children of Israel, the grandchildren of daddy Abraham. I hope you will come along and travel with us through the exciting pages and doors of time. We are sure to receive a a great awakening of our minds with the real knowledge of us.

Though this vital Black Bible history will be our main theme, we will also focus on many other issues that affects the Black community, as our survival is daily challenged.

WH&B Radio: Jonathan Ratner of Western Watersheds Project

    in Environment

Our guest is JONATHAN RATNER, Western Watersheds Project’s Director for Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.  Jonathan joined WWP after a stint with the Forest Service in which he documented severe degradation caused by livestock grazing.  When his reports were consigned to the ‘round file’ by the Forest Service, he sought out assistance from various area conservation organizations to deal with the problems, all of which declined to help.  In his search for assistance farther afield he came across Western Watersheds Project and shortly thereafter started WWP’s Wyoming Office.

Jonathan will talk about public lands ranching, the most widespread commercial use of public lands in the United States.  Ranching is one of the primary causes of native species endangerment in the American West; it is also the most significant cause of non-point source water pollution and desertification.

Tonight's show is hosted by Debbie Coffey, V.P. and Dir. of Wild Horse Affairs for Wild Horse Freedom Federation.

BREAKING: Donald J. Trump & The Most Important Election in World History

    in Culture

'Today' is nothing more than a product of our 'Past Decisions' - a 'Looking Glass' of sorts; The images it reflects are filled with the decisions of our past and are 100% constructed using only materials harvested from the consequences of our actions - and inactions.

The upcoming Election will become known - in the future - as one of the most important times in our history.  Never has so many VITALLY IMPORTANT issues been called to question - all within a single election.  Rarely has there been so much at stake.  The unfortunate part about that is that so many people - being in full possession of the ability to affect those outcomes - will make a CONSCIOUS DECISION to do, instead......absolutely nothing.

    These are the facts:

The financial credibility of the USA is all but gone, with a deficit hoverin around $20T (that's $20 Trillion):  How, then, will our currency continue to compete - or even survive - in the future 'Marketplace of the World'?

We've all but exiled and made null those few citizens who are the ONLY LINE of defense and barrier between the 'Safe Haven' that is our country and the cold, cruel world that lies beyond our borders - our Veterans:  How will we continue to count on those who have VOLUNTEERED to serve their country?

Status Quo Politicians have all but erased the separation of Church and State, creating laws with unspeakable demands:  When the Catholics in our country are summarily forced to perform abortions, will anything that we hold sacred remain?

Our Nation is bursting at the seams with those whose Jihad would see them die - just to see us die:  Will this massive influx of non-Americans, purposefully brought to our country by a Falsely Inserted POTUS dilute and muffle the Great Voice that used to be the Heartbeat of our Nation?

Carter G. Woodson and the History of Black History Month

    in Culture

Carter Godwin Woodson (Dec. 19, 1875 – April 3, 1950) was an African-American historian, author, journalist and the founder of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. Woodson was one of the first scholars to study African-American history. A founder of The Journal of Negro History in 1915, Woodson has been cited as the father of black history. In Feb. 1926 he announced the celebration of "Negro History Week", considered the precursor of Black History Month.

Carter G. Woodson was born in Buckingham County, Virginia, the son of former slaves, James and Eliza Riddle Woodson.[5] His father helped Union soldiers during the Civil War and moved his family to West Virginia when he heard that Huntington was building a high school for blacks.

Coming from a large, poor family, Carter could not regularly attend school. Through self-instruction, he mastered the fundamentals of common school subjects by age 17. Wanting more education, Carter went to Fayette County to earn a living as a miner in the coal fields. He was able to devote only a few months each year to his schooling.

In 1895, at the age of 20, Woodson entered Douglass High School, where he received his diploma in less than two years. From 1897 to 1900, Woodson taught at Winona in Fayette County. In 1900 he was selected as the principal of Douglass High School. He earned his Bachelor of Literature degree from Berea College in Kentucky in 1903 by taking classes part-time between 1901 and 1903.
