Thinking Forward Inc. presents the Hump Day motivational call. This weeks topic will be about, "Weathering The The Storms Through The Seasons Of Life" We cannot allow the storms that may come in our life to deter us off balance with our self value and our ultimate purpose in life. In this series we will talk about staying motivated throughout the week not allowing storms, disappointment, pains, and setbacks to cloud you mind to the point you feel your purpose and dreams are impossible. We will also dive into the concept that working hard and being a good person does make you exempt from the trials and tribulations that we all must endure to reach a level of success.

As we have observed in this recent month, we are winding down on the last season of the year and there are bound to be storms on the horizon. These storms not only occur in the natural world, but also in the spiritual world as well. Just like we have prepared for the storms that ravage this world in which we all dwell in, we must know how to prepare for the mental and physical storms in our path. In this months broadcast we will be looking back on some old subjects as well as new material, that will join together to create the armor and abilities necessary to proceed through the vile storms in which our enemy has placed in our path. Get ready for an electrifying experience that will prepare us for the storms on the horizon.
Why does it seems like just when things are starting to go your way, it falls apart again? You get two steps forward and life knocks you two steps back. Will it ever end? There is a reason for it, and the answer may surprise you. Join Stephen and Jon as they discuss how to weather the the ups and downs in the storms of everyday life.

As a part of her Dance with Bipolar, blog talk-radio series, Dr. Cathy Reimers (Doc) and Bipolar peer specialist, Meg Dog discuss the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) on bipolar disorder. Studies have indicated that many people who have been diagnosed with bipolar also meet the criteria for PTSD. How are they related? If you struggle with both bipolar and PTSD could your depression get worse? Doc and Meg Dog answer these questions and any other questions that our “live callers” may have. Doc says: “Trauma is never pretty.” Meg Dog responds: “Ya, it’s pretty ugly.”

We are continuing with our "Season of Thanksgiving" series with this broadcast. We've been discussing being thankful in all things (situations and circumstances) that affect our lives. We've had a testimony by one couple of how even in the trials and the storms of life, a change in perspective, a relationship with God and a heart of humility can save a marriage. An attitude of Thanksgiving is something we all have the choice to have, but what are its benefits? Are they for everyone?

"Its not what happens to you, but how you react to it." ~ Epictetus
There is a TON of truth to that quote. But let's examine it one step further; it's not what happens to you in life, but rather how you RESPOND. There is a huge difference between reacting and responding. Reacting is emotional; responding is more logic-based and requires an element of critical thinking and mental toughness.
Listen in as JT gives practical tools for handling the ups and downs of business and life. It's not about surviving the challenges, but THRIVING in the face of them!

Welcome to Dance with Bipolar with Meg Dog and Doc Reimers, psychologist in NJ. Dance With Bipolar disorder is a talk-radio show that views bipolar from a positive perspective. Meg Dog and I believe that you don’t have to fight your diagnosis. Our motto is “Dance with it, go with the flow and embrace it.” As a dance instructor would tell you: “Hold your chin up, head up and stand tall.” Never feel ashamed of your diagnosis. We have people from all over the county call in with questions that relate to bipolar disorder and you will learn love yourself, accept yourself and be yourself. Tonight we are going to talk about what to do between medication changes when anxiety arises. Learn methods to manage anxiety and how mindfulness techniques can calm the storm. If you have a family member who won't stop interrogating you about your disorder then you must listen to this episode. Doc says: Never get into the car with type of individual!"
Join Guest Host Bishop Louis Tatum as he discuss how to overcome the storms in your life in a Christian way.
