CUTV News Radio spotlights Bernice Clark of Serene Space Health Coaching

    in Health

Lindenwold, NJ – In our fast-paced world it seems there’s no longer any time to be introspective. There’s no time to ask, “What am I lacking? What do I need for myself to feel better and do better?” We have to look at our bodies as a complete system: if one thing isn’t working right, then nothing else will.

Bernice Clark is a certified health coach and the founder of Serene Space Health Coaching where she specializes in helping medically ill people who have a desire to change their lifestyle by educating them to make informed choices for their health.

“I’m passionate about helping people restore and maintain their health and well-being so they don’t need pharmaceuticals to manage health issues for the rest of their lives,” says Bernice.

The consummate health care professional, Bernice has been a nurse and nurse practitioner for 25 years. According to Bernice, health coaching is the space between a person who needs assistance and traditional medical care. Some of these individuals suffer from hypertension, obesity, stress and anxiety.

“In my other life as a nurse, it was too late for prevention. We were managing diseases,” says Bernice. “I tend to gravitate to those people because I understand physiologically what’s going on with them and I have an understanding of what medications they may or may not be on. I can recommend changes to their diet that won’t compromise their current health conditions.”

Reclaiming Space: Removing Emotional Clutter with B.E.S.T.

    in Self Help

Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.) is a gentle, holistic energy balancing procedure that reestablishes the healing potential of the body. B.E.S.T. was developed by chiropractor Dr. MT Morter, Jr starting in the 1970′s.

Although B.E.S.T. was developed by a chiropractor and originally only taught to chiropractors, it’s now taught to and used by a number of different people including various healthcare professionals and coaches. B.E.S.T. can be used for more than just physical health problems – it’s really about improving your overall level of Wellness. In this episode you'll more about the technique, how it works, and how it can benefit you.

Tracy K. Pierce is a Clutter Coach, Holistic Organizer, and the creator of the Reclaiming Space course series. She works with people ready to embark upon a quest of self discovery driven by the desire for Truth. By exploring and releasing clutter as a primary mode of transformation, Tracy guides clients to reclaim space for what matters most.

It’s been Tracy's experience that once we clear the clutter from our lives, we can see things more clearly - not only does clearing the clutter open up our physical spaces, it can open our hearts and minds and make a positive impact on nearly every aspect of our lives. Learn more at www.SynergyOrganizing.com.

How much for open space & remembering veterans

    in News

The question of how much money to raise through the Open Space tax is a perennial topic in Bergen County. It came up again last week when the Freeholders voted to keep the tax at its current rate of one-quarter cent per $100 of assessed valuation. However, County Administrator Dominic Novelli left the door open to perhaps raising it next year.

In this segment of Record Talk Radio, Novelli talks about the administration's position on the tax. Freeholder David Ganz also weighs in on why he feels that amount is insufficient, given the county's needs.

In the second segment, Retired Marine Captain Ben Cascio talks about what it was like to be asked to give the keynote speech at Friday's Military Appreciation ceremony.

    in Science

On Thursday, 23-April, I had the privilege of attending a NASA Social Media Event at the Newseum in Washington, DC and the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope.
