Welcome to A Kind Voice on Music. This musical highlight show shines a spotlight on Silverbird based out of Brooklyn, NY. This four piece rock group is working with UK producer Kris Harris to perfect the sounds that Tim Barr spent two months in a monastery writing. A new but strangely comfortable album has followed and now they need your help to KickStart things right. Hosted by Tyler Wolf.
This edition of A Kind Voice on Music features Quiana Lynell, certified southern girl, who infuses her classical training and gospel upbringing with her love for jazz. Embracing her four-octave range, she is able to perform a limitless repertoire. Her style, Jazz, Classical, Soul and Funk, or as she has coined "Jazzicalsofunk," has been described as nothing you have ever heard. Her personality shines through as she delves into the true meaning of well-known songs and exposes hidden tips and secrets to true happiness. Captivating the audience with her voice her smile lights the way, as she shares with you her soul through song. Listen in as host, Mitch Ruth asks about her LOVEME initiative, sending a postitive message with music and, if we're lucky, he'll ask the burning question, "Sugar or salt on the grits?"

On A Kind Voice on Music this episode, we feature the talents of Cincinnati's own The Upset Victory! These guys are proving yet again they are the up and coming champs of the Cincinnati indie music scene. Pumping out a driving, piercing mixture of rock, pop and alternative, this fearsome fivesome are the embodiment of true recording and performing diehards, releasing a continuous stream of new music while taking the stage every chance they get. Host Mitch Ruth will ask the pertinant questions about the band and plans for the future. If possible we will even enter the Skyline vs. Gold Star controversy.
This episode of A Kind Voice on Music focuses on New Orleans musician Dominick Blanda...In the summer of 2013 he was reunited with his passion for playing live music as a favor to his brother who works at House of Blues, New Orleans. Asked to fill a solo slot for one of the musicians who had backed out of a gig; the performance received a positive response. That turned into a regular gig and the formation of a band. Now multi-talented artist, Dominick, has a successful Kickstarter campaign under his belt, along with a couple of children's books and a bright outlook for the future. But the way in the past couple of years hasn't been without hitches. Listen as host Mitch Ruth explores Dominick's journey as a multi-faceted artist in the Big Easy. It is even possible that Mitch might ask the persistent question, "Who Dat?"
Welcome to A Kind Voice on Music. This showcase shines a spotlight on Laura Walsh. Whether owning the big stages or pouring her heart out in the intimate smaller venues, whether she is broadcasted to the mass media through TV and radio interviews or having a conversation over a cup of coffee (green tea for Laura), Laura’s unfailing passion is to connect with her audience in hopes to inspire those she reaches to get involved in their communities. Hosted by Tyler Wolf.
Welcome to A Kind Voice on Music. This Musical showcase spotlights Music. Oddly fitting but somehow a rare delicacy on our program to have an all music show. We are honoring those who have shared their music and kind voices with us all through playing the music that they chose to share with our listeners. We will play their music and reminisce about the time they shared with the show. We will highlight the stylings of Steve Weeks, Walden, Erin and The Wildfire, Tony Herdman and more. Enjoy the music and please support live, local music in your area. A Kind Voice on Music, hosted by Tyler Wolf
"Between Shifts" is a short film that follows Joanne, a lonely diner waitress, as she embarks on a journey one afternoon while on break between her lunch and dinner shifts.
This modern-day fairytale explores the magic that surrounds us in our everyday lives - the extraordinary in the ordinary - if we’re just willing see it!
"Between Shifts" was a semifinalist in the 2014 BlueCat Screenplay Competition: "Poignant, taut and funny, this is a rewarding read, and has the potential to be a film festival audience favorite."
Our guests this episode will be Actress/Writer/Producer Jaime Saginor, Producer Kellie Dantzler, and Director Lysandra Petersson to discuss this film and the magic of every day life.

Melancholy is an honest attempt to illustrate the true experience of an individual dealing with a major depressive disorder. It does away with the stereotypes that often plague portrayals of depressed characters in TV and film.
The film focuses on one night in the life of Sara, a typical twenty-something going through a severe depressive episode while trying reach out for any kind of catalyst to pull herself free, searching for help through friends, faith, and medication. Through Sara's eyes we see the despair, hopelessness, and fear that can cripple the life of an individual fighting a major depressive disorder. Sara's boyfriend, Graham, provides the perspective of the outsider. He struggles to find some way to help the woman he loves but can't find a way to break Sara out of her cycle of lethargy and depression. The relationship between Sara and Graham demonstrates a common example of the misunderstanding and disconnect between any couple in which one person is suffering from depression. Melancholy explores this disconnect and provides an emotional insight into the struggles of both Sara and Graham.
Our guest this episode will be Writer/Director Nathan Edwards to talk about this project.
Check out the Kickstarter campaign for this film here.

Another Kind Voice on Music will feature The Kissers from Madison Wisconsin. After a six year hiatus the Irish Folk Rock group has reunited to create an all new album "Three Sails"
The Kissers are known for the frenzied energy of their live shows, their off-kilter humor, and their eclectic instrumentation. Violin, banjo, accordion, and an array of sonic effects combine with diverse musical influences for a unique sound that straddles the gap between indie-rock and Irish music. Audiences and reviewers, trying to describe them, cite bands as varied as the Shins, Pogues, and the Decemberists. The Kissers maintain that they are rock musicians who learned to play Irish music, not vice versa, and so their music sometimes feels more at home in a club than in a pub.
The Kissers will join host Mitch Ruth and for our show, we will feature some past favorites from the Band, discuss the future, hopefully get a few sneak peeks and find out just what they wear under those kilts (wait, that's Scottish....never mind). I may also ask that eternal question: "If you were a tree what would be your favorite brand of breath mint?"
