As a child, I experienced a lot of physical abuse from my mother. It was an upbringing with no kisses or cuddling. At the age of seventeen I left home in a panic and spent the night in a refuge center feeling unloved and unwanted. I went on to raise a family. No matter what was happening in my life I always looked on the bright side. At one point I invested in a life coaching course and NLP.
