A Re-Invention is a " Make Over" often times we notice long lines in the Department Stores for a "Make Over"
Sometimes even surgery /surgeries
The most important question then becomes, When was the last time you made over your inside?

Today I got to spend some time at Caveman Vintage Music in Chinatown, Los Angeles with Store Owner Eric Stollsteimer. I met Eric through my friend Jose Luis Sedano while tracking down some information about old 78 records. Once I visited the place I knew I had to do a show a show there. When you are Vintage like me who remembers the music when it was new, then this place is a must visit on your Bucket List. While I was there I was also trying to sell some old reel to reel tapes. We spent about a half an hour talking about old guitars, old music, and old audio equipment and just had a wonderful time and I truly enjoyed it.
I asked Eric about why Chinatown for a location? He had the best Answer because we are a specialized store we are a “destination location” people come from all over the World to visit Caveman Music and after doing the show I understand why. Thank You Eric for your time, I had a lot of fun. I look forward to a show with Eric Bailey, who is your head of repairs and talk about repairing vintage guitars and audio equipment.
In 2011 Eric found himself missing being the owner of his own vintage music business, and that's when he opened “Caveman Vintage Music” in Chinatown, Los Angeles. Eric has been featured in reality show “Storage Hunters” and has been interviewed for television and numerous magazines including “Lightning” a Japanese magazine. Caveman Vintage Music has been used for commercials by Volkswagon and McDonalds. His store has been also feature in the television show the Agents of Shield.

From Banker to work for dad's import-export business on Long Island in the lawn & garden and hardware industry for about a year or so and then became the National Sales Manager for a British company just getting started in the North American market that was in the DIY hardware industry. Did that for about 4 years and then attempted to help a German horticultural company get established in the US market with a peat bog they started in New Brunswick, Canada. Did that for a couple of years and then decided to become a manufacturer's rep in the same industries. Built a rep organization, one of the first to sell and service The Home Depots and other big box stores covering Maine down to Virginia. By the time i left in 1999, we had 100 service reps on the road covering all the Home Depots from Maine to Virginia with just over 40 different product lines in each store. Burnt out, got a divorce and decided to change careers. Joined Weichert Realtors for a few years originally to be a sales agent, but quickly became the go to for designing the presentations for the agents to get customers, both for sale and to purchase. Left that to buy Creative Desktop in Brookfield, CT; a graphic design company and worked that up to about 4 years ago, changing the name to Creative Group LLC and converting it into a music promotion business. As a self taught graphic designer and picking up a keyboard in 1999 to start to write and compose my own music, found my true passion was music. Never looked back. Actually wrote my vows into a song when i remarried in 2006 which was our first dance. Decided to pay it forward and fill a void in the music industry that was missing in supporting the independent music artists and started TBAIMS in January of 2013 holding the first seven monthly showcases at the Gibson Guitar Studios on the West Side of Midtown Manhattan. Have since moved it to Toshi's Living Room.
Dr Peter Glidden, Naturopathic Doctor and author of 'The MD Emperor Has No Clothes: Everyone Is Sick and I Know Why", joins us for what is likely to be THE MOST controversial show that we will ever do. Dr Glidden's outspoken, but thorougly well researched, book covers the house of cards that is reductionist allopathic medicine, and why WHOLISTIC medicine is the golden standard for curing chronic disease. He runs us through:
- The difference between an allopathic and wholistic physician
- Why there is NO free market in medicine - a shocking story that extends back to the 1920's
- What happens when you try to suppress symptoms with medical drugs
- What the makers of Aspirin manufactured in the 1940's and,
- Which drug killed 500,000 people in 2004 (and why nobody went to jail)
This week Ken and Beth discuss a curious discovery just south of the US/Mexico border. Some "muslim clothes" along with some 'Korans" were found abandoned near the border at a place frequented by persons attempting to cross over the border and enter the US illegally. The question: could this be evidence of a new "sleeper" cell entering the country? Or, is it a hoax contrived to cause fear and unrest among the people? Let's talk about that! The Caesars are veterans of the Motor City’s R&B, jazz, rock, and blues scenes. For more than a decade, the classically trained Laura Rain has been singing in Detroit and Los Angeles with an absolute freedom of expression, permitted by her wondrous voice, an instrument of infinite shadings in timbre that avails itself to effortless glides between registers. Often compared to Aretha Franklin, Rains’s fire, feeling, and expressiveness are all her own. Producer, co-writer, and guitarist George Friend, another Detroiter returned home from L.A., has made his mark in multiple genres–rockabilly (Robert Gordon), R&B (The Sun Messengers), and blues (Janiva Magness)–and released a hip solo album of West Coast blues, Looka Here!, in 2004. Phil Hale has played keyboards for everyone from Martha Reeves to George Clinton, Stanley Jordan, Bettye LaVette, and James Carter. Drummer Ron Pangborn, an original member of Was (Not Was), lays down beats that are perfectly fitted to the Caesars' retro-modern soul and blues.
in 2013, Laura Rain and the Caesars have been featured at the Anti Freeze Blues Fest, Tawas Blues By the Bay, Brighton Smokin' Jazz and Blues Barbecue, Marquette Area Blues Festival, Mackinac Island Music Festival and in clubs from Detroit to Los Angeles.
