It’s that time again!!! Round Table Tuesday!! Join us tonight at 9PM on R.I.G.H.T. Mind Radio as we continue the conversation. The focus will still remain on the family unit, Blackman, Woman, & Child. A beautiful thing about our elders is they understood that it took a “Village” to ensure that our communities thrived. We have moved away from that mentality. Every man/woman/child for themselves. The family unit is in shambles & that is the very structure that our communities need, so we’re going to define family as well. What does the word mean to you? Today, we turn a blind eye to injustice, crime, abuse, drugs & everything else that is destroying our communities. This is not about outsiders coming to our rescue, this is about US saving US. It can be done, when we take our rightful positions as men & women. Once order is in place, the youth will fall in line. Join us as we give our definitions of “The Village” and how are we going to go about achieving the goal. Tonight is also Q & A for all of the panelist. Call in & ask anything. We encourage healthy dialogue.
Join us today as we raise the issue
How to strengthen the village if the village is not strong enough.....
“The positive men we have willing to be coaches and role models are doing a great job, but we can’t raise 72 percent of children who are missing fathers,” says Kunjufu. “The village is not strong enough. It’s still 5 million black boys who need a father.”
Something to think about:
Why is it that one of the most important decisions; to create and maintain family does not involve careful planning and greater thought?
This week we review the season 2 premiere of 'Gotham', "Damned If You Do..." Jim Gordon has been demoted. Penguin rules the Gotham underworld. Bruce and Alfred search for a way into the mysterious cave of Thomas Wayne, and Barbara finds a new home in Arkham Asylum -- all while a mysterious new player, Theo Galavan, enters the political arena. Join us as we discuss the moral integrity of Captain Essen and Jim Gordon as they find their way into more troubles than they had previously imagined! The first chapter of 'Rise of the Villains' has arrived! Is 'Gotham' still worth watching? Has it redeemed itself from the previous season? And what shall we make of this silly Zaardon character?

Our children are in desperate need of help, love and intervention. The traditional African proverb said, it takes a village to raise a child. As we watch the news, look at youtube and read other social media outlet postings we see young people in a trouble and trying state. What should we be saying to these things? As a village we must get busy, so much work needs to be done. Our voices should sound the alarm and our hands must work for the good of our children . Tonight we will discuss the latest trends we see in the culture as it relates to our children. Join me and my special guest, Pastor Ava as we talk about this important topic.

Today on "It's My House" we shall be making people aware of Pinkhook, Missouri.
There has been a lot of mystery about the founding of Pinhook. Many people believe that it was founded by sharecroppers in the 1930s. This largely African American colony was expanded to nearly 250 people at one time. During the Summer of 2011 the Mississippi began to flood, Pinhook was destroyed on May 2, 2011. The Birds Point- New Madrid levee was blown to save Cairo, Illinois from flooding. Everyone in Pinhook lost their homes that they had lived in for many years. Many are devastated because they loved living in a small community, knowing everyone. These people fled to family or apartments, until they could find a new home. There has been talk of relocating the community as a whole, but the funding is the only issue. In August 2015 remaining buildings were bulldozed.

Mike Boldea was born in a small northern Romanian Village. At the age of nine, his entire family was deported from Romania for smuggling Bibles. His grandfather, Dumitru Duduman started an outreach ministry called "Hand of Help" of which Mike is now Chairman.
Mike has traveled internationally with Dumitru for over 11 years acting as Dumitru's translator. They shared their testimonies, as well as an important message God gave Dumitru for the United States.
Recently Mike has translated the book entitled "Life In Christ" which Dumitru had penned prior to his death. The testimonies of those that were persecuted for their faith must live on to build up the body of Christ. Mike continues to operate in his gift as an Evangelist to exhort the body of Christ to present itself with a garment clean before our Lord.
Michael has a strong Christian heritage coming from a line of 4 generations of Christians. In the village of Hinceste Romania his Great grandfather was one of the first Christians converted there and his grandfather was a pastor and his father pastors the "Messiah" church in Botosani Romania with over 800 members. Their family worked with Richard Wurmbrandt, Harlan Popoff, and brother Andrew taking bibles to the underground Church.
Michael has seen the presence of God in accomplishing the work that his family was called to. In the face of great persecution and opposition thousands of bibles were given to the Christians of Romania even though it was punishable by imprisonment if caught. His grandfather Dumitru Duduman did suffer greatly being imprisoned for his faith. Under extreme torture he never recanted his faith and stands as a witness of faithfulness to this day in Romania.

Our guests this morning are Martin Holmes and Nils Nehrenheim from the community group, Rescue our Waterfront.
Martin is a cofounder of Rescue Our Waterfront. He lives in Redondo Beach and enjoys spending time at the Redondo Pier and Riviera Village. Martin graduated from MIT with a degree in aerospace engineering. Today he works for the Air Force and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in systems engineering at USC. In his free time, he travels the world, snowboards, sails, and kayaks.
As a life-long South Bay resident, Nils Nehrenheim has lived, worked and played throughout the South Bay. Redondo Beach is near and dear to his daily life. Being a small business owner in Redondo, and an LA County Lifeguard on the local beaches, he exemplifies the South Bay way of life and understands what makes living here so special. He jumped into local politics during the successful fight against Measure B, then became one of the leaders of another community group, Save The Riviera's fight against the Legado project. He is now taking that combined experience to work with Rescue Our Waterfront.
This morning, we’re going to discuss the Waterfront project proposed by CenterCal and the goals of Rescue Our Waterfront.
