Rebecca is a former competitive figure skater whose switch to a vegan diet healed her chronic joint pain. Rebecca has been a featured speaker at Vegfest events including the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival, Vegetarian Summerfest, Paris Vegan Day, and universities.

Lee Ann Thill is known to the DOC as a diabetes blogger and leader of diabetes community art projects, but since transitioning to a vegan lifestyle in 2013, her work as an activist and academic has been shifting and expanding. She has been exploring the relationships between veganism, intersectional justice, art, and diabetes.
Lee Ann has achieved a new level of health and happiness following a vegan lifestyle. In addition to her academic inquiry, she is excited to answer questions about going vegan, address common misunderstandings about veganism, and offer support to people who are interested in transitioning.
She is a registered board-certified art therapist and Pennsylvania licensed professional counselor, doctoral student, professor of art therapy, artist, and volunteer with Peace Advocacy Network and Catskill Animal Sanctuary. Lee Ann has had type 1 diabetes since 1978.

The semester will be over in a few weeks and at this point you have a very good idea of what you're doing this summer. I'm guessing you are working an internship, conducting summer research, or taking classes. Whether you are doing these things or something else, I'll provide a few tips on how to make the most of your summer.
Summer is approching fast plans are made many times a year or more in advance and a family or individual may travel overseas to tour and sightsee. This year where would you like to vsit. Italy, France,Europe, or maybe some other place nice and warm. Check out the suggestions for planning a trip and sometimes without very much money. There are small areas near your city that you have never explored and you may have to only pay for a hotel because you have traspotation and a few dollars to pay for sights. You maybe able to camp out so you get to bring and cook food.
