Robby Wells has been a public servant for over twenty years, serving as a teacher, football coach, and a member of the Army National Guard. Mr. Wells was adopted at birth, and grew up in the southeastern part of the country as the son of a Baptist Minister. He learned the value of hard work at a very young age when he delivered newspapers as a ten year old.
After coaching ten seasons of college football, Robby Wells became the first white head football coach at Savannah State University, a historically black college (HBCU), on December 22, 2007. In his first season as head coach, Savannah State saw as many wins in that season as the previous five seasons combined. He is the most successful coach at Savannah State in the past decade. During his time at Savannah State University. Throughout his coaching career, Robby Wells has seen great success, and he attributes that to helping other people believe and achieve to their full potential.
In 2000, Robby Wells earned his master's degree from the University of South Carolina in adult education. In 1990, he also earned his bachelor's degree from Furman University in Health and Exercise Science. During his time at Furman University, Robby Wells was a member of the football team that won the 1988 I-AA National Championship.
Robby Wells resides in Charlotte, NC where he attends Elevation Church, one of the fastest growing churches in the nation. Mr. Wells also has a small marketing business based in Charlotte that employs college students from the local schools.

Guided by her strong faith, she and her friends stood up to a billion-dollar coal company and government bureaucracy. This movie is the struggle of a people, desperately battling to keep their way of life , their lands, and their families and homes intact. A group of citizens battle to change a mind set that has remained in Appalachia for many years. “One simply does not fight the coal mining company". These companies are powerful entities with finances, machinery, and backing of our government; but fight back we did! In the end, they made history.
