During the Vietnam War, in 1965 as a USAF Pilot, Kan was shot down over North Vietnam and later rescued.
Col Bob Kan, USAF (Ret.) is a third generation Japanese American (JA). born and raised in Hawaii. As a 7-year-old, Bob told his Mom he wanted to be a pilot. When he was nine-years old, he witnessed Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. As the war raged, Bob was selling newspapers on the streets of Honolulu to soldiers and sailors, many in Hawaii on their way to fight the enemy forces in the Pacific

Combat Search and Rescue Helicopter Pilot
L. Todd Wood, USAF, “left Savannah in 1982 to attend U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO where he studied aeronautical engineering. Upon graduation in 1986, he immediately left the Academy for flight school. His initial assignment was flying Combat Search & Rescue helicopters at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska. In the UHAE (Unique Harsh Arctic Environment) he flew local rescue missions and was also deployed throughout Asia. During this time he was credited with saving many lives.
In addition to flying exciting missions, Todd also managed to graduate from the University of Alaska Anchorage with an MS in Engineering Management. In 1990 he volunteered for Special Operations and went back to flight school. In 1991 he was assigned to the 20th Special Operations Squadron at Hurlburt Field, FL, flying MH-53J Pave Low helicopters. Immediately he was deployed to Kuwait. Over the next three years he was active in classified missions in support of counterterrorism under the control of the National Command Authority and deployed throughout the world. His customers included SEAL Team Six and Delta Force. He left the Air Force as a Captain in 1994.” L. Todd Wood is the author of Currency.

Military Monday with John Gresham - Doolittle Tokyo Raid
Join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham for Military Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern on April 22 when he'll discuss a remarkable event in military history, the Doolittle Tokyo Raid.
In the first part of the show, author Barrett Tillman will share the story of the Tokyo Raid, about which he's written several books.
Joining John in the second part of the program will be Major General Richard Comer (USAF-Ret) to offer his insights into this military raid that took place on April 18, 1942. The hosts and guests will also discuss the Tokyo Raiders Society, formed by veterans of the Tokyo Raid -- and the special ceremony they'd agreed upon to commemmorate the occasion when there are only two veterans left.

He served in the US Active Regular Army in the NATO Nuclear Field in the Federal Republic of Germany as a Crypto Graphic Specialist. Bishop Weeden attended Indiana University-Purdue University and continued his education at Christ United Theological Seminary receiving his Licentiate in Canon Law and Sacred Theology.
Bishop Weeden joined the US Air Force Leadership Academy, USAF Civil Air Patrol, served as the first Commander &Captainf or Cushite Squadron 407 of Ohio for the USAir Force Civil Air Patrol
Bishop Weeden served as a deacon, minister and ordained for the United Pentecostal Churches of Christ, Inc., under the leadership of Metropolitan Bishop, Bishop J. Delano Ellis II. Bishop Weeden also served as Ass't National Adjutant for United Pentecostal Churches of Christ Inc. & Personal Ass't & Adjutant for the Presiding Bishop, Metropolitan Bishop Jesse. Delano Ellis II.
Bishop Weeden was consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord’s Holy Church in the year of our Lord 2010 and he now serves as Chief of Staff for the Board of Bishops for Grace Cathedral Christian Fellowship Inc.Greenville, Sc.
